When skies are grey...

So excited. I finally found a cute way to use my stamps and it fits these two challenges perfectly. I was totally inspired by the April showers theme. Though rain can be annoying at least I get to use my cute umbrella lol.  And as far as inspiration goes it has been rainy rainy here in Montreal for the past week. So I commemorate this card to the lovely rain and these super fun challenges.
I'd love to tell you the stamp set I used, but i threw away the packaging :(  I used some ribbon and bling, but mostly my card used that one specific stamp set. It had some umbrellas and clouds as well as the saying "When skies are grey". Just to lighten up the mood of my card I used a lawn fawn alpha set to write "YOU MAKE MY DAY", on  the inside of the card.

Loved this challenge.

Paper Smooches SPARKS: challenge

I love challenges. This gets funner by the minute. So I’m joining the paper smooches challenge (you can check it out à www.papersmoochesstamps.com ).  The challenge is pretty straight forward. There is a fun quirky photo that you need to draw inspiration from and then you just create!

 

I've made two cards for this challenge so far. The first I made using the “hello” paper smooches sentiment stamp. I freakn’ love that stamp; It’s just such a fun font and I love coloring it in. I thought the bird I used looked very pish- posh and really reminded me of the quote in the photo.

The second card I made is for my mom. Mother’s day is coming up and the challenge included two fun colors (blue and orange). So I centered my card around both colors and used the paper smooches sentiment stamps “for you” and “mom”, and I made a totally cute card! I swear I have a new found obsession with sentiment stamps. Love them!!!

The Lion King

This is undoubtedly my favorite Disney movie, so how can I not include it in my smash book. I love the story line, Mufasa and Simba’s relationship, the laughs, the crys, the roars lol... all of it. I can watch this movie a thousand times and still want to watch it another thousand times. <3

Lily Pad Palette Challenge

Super excited. Just started up my blog site and now I’m entering a challenge. My very first challenge! I’m so proud of myself...can you tell? So I had to make a card using three colors : pink, green and yellow. So far I got one done, I may add more since the challenge is ongoing but this is it so far. Hope you like it!
